Children's Ministry

Sunday School is the heart of our ministry.  It is our desire to provide experiences that will encourage children to develop a mature appreciation of the faith and bring them to the love and acceptance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Kids Worship - It is our desire for children to learn how to worship and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit.  A Kids Worship service includes: singing, praying, drama, Bible study, and games/activities to reinforce the Bible story. Kids are dismissed during services to the Children's Building.

Worship Arts for Kids is made up of choirs for Pre-K through 5th grade.  Children will worship through hymns, praise choruses, scripture memory, and playing musical instruments. WAK meets Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the Children's Building.

Girls in Action (GAs) is for girls in 1st grade through 5th grade.  Girls are actively involved in learning about missions, praying for and giving to missions, and actually doing missions themselves.  Each girl will participate in a Bible memory verse program. GAs meets in the Children's Building at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.

Royal Ambassadors (RAs) is for boys in 1st grade through 5th grade.  They are involved in mission-minded activities, which are designed to develop expression of their Christian commitment and will participate in a Bible memory verse program. RAs meets in the Children's Building at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.

Mission Friends is a wonderful opportunity for children 3 years of age through kindergarten to learn through imitation, modeling, activities, stories, prayer, cultures items, patience and love, about missionaries in other states and countries and how to be a missionary right here in Nacogdoches.  Mission Friends meets in the Children's Building at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.  Let us help set the beginning stage for a missions lifestyle.
