Series: Galatians

The Hardest Truth

March 22, 2020 | Dr. Noel Dear

Passage: Galatians 5:19-21

Are some lifestyles so incompatible with God’s standard that it is impossible for someone with that lifestyle to ever be right with God, to be a Christian? If we are saved by the grace and goodness of God and not by keeping the rules, then how does that line up with God’s hatred of sin and insistence that people “who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God?”

In this message, we will discover the answer to these and other important related questions.

Series Information

The Christian life begins with such a feeling of forgiveness and grace, but after a short time, many are right back under the familiar guilt and condemnation they felt before they knew Christ. As a result, some walk away from the Lord. Because they believe they cannot live up to the new standard, many quit the faith.

Well, there is good news for you if that is where you are! The whole book of Galatians was written to provide both a course correction and the fullness of peace to all of us who are struggling to live lives perfectly in line with the righteous standard of God.
